Internship Details

Interns at Adobe will have the opportunity to tackle challenging research problems that are both academically intriguing and have the potential to impact and enhance Adobe’s products.

Adobe’s research team regularly publishes papers in top-tier conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ECCV/ICCV, ACL, EMNLP, NSDI, SIGMOD, VLDB, AAAI, WebConf, and CIKM, among others.

PhD students with a focus on areas such as Generative AI, ML, NLP, Computer Vision, Systems, GPU, AI Frameworks, Large Model Optimizations, Document Understanding, Video and Image Generation, or Data Management—especially those with publications in renowned conferences—are well-suited for this role.

The research labs at Adobe are actively publishing in leading journals and conferences, collaborating with product teams on high-profile features, and exploring new product opportunities across multiple domains. Adobe is particularly interested in fostering long-term collaborations that could extend beyond the internship and become integral to a PhD thesis.

Role and Responsibilities

Under the direction of an Adobe Research mentor, you will:

  • Pursue a research problem to apply to Adobe’s products, with the possibility of academic publication
  • Develop new algorithms, run experiments, and produce demonstration prototypes
  • Document and present your work, both verbally and in writing

Qualifications

  • Current Ph.D. student in computer science, or a related field
  • Sufficient research skills and background in your chosen subject area
  • Strong communication skills and collaboration experience
  • Passion for solving real-world problems with web-scale data.
