MANIT Bhopal is inviting applications for Outreach Summer Internship Programme 2025. The last date of application is April 30.
Internship Programme (IP) for 2nd year and 3rd year UG students is a new initiative started by Centre of Excellence in Product Design and Smart Manufacturing (CEPDSM) from the academic year 2024-’25 to introduce research bent of mind in UG students at an early stage and to promote interdisciplinary research activities in the Centre. CEPDSM at MANIT-Bhopal was established in the year 2021 to offer a unique platform for collaboration of advanced technologies in the area of product design and smart manufacturing.
The objective of the Centre is to design and develop products with concern on social, physical, and ecological environments by providing opportunities to the students to take real time projects. The Centre is offering post graduate programme in ‘Smart Manufacturing’ and also offers PhD programme for sponsored, selfsponsored, and GATE qualified candidates.
B.Tech students (completing their 2nd year and 3rd year) from various technical institutes and universities of India and abroad are invited to carry out their internship programme in the CEPDSM, MANIT, Bhopal for the summer session starting from 2nd June 2025.
2nd and 3rd Year students pursuing Bachelor’s degree from Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and other related branches of Engineering from reputed technical institutes of India and abroad.
2nd June to 27th June 2025 (one month internship) 2nd June to 11th July 2025 (one-and-a-half-month internship).

Students will have to submit applications on-line for the programme in a prescribed format. Selection of students is done after screening the applications and possible acceptance by the concerned supervisors. Applicants will have to submit a report in the prescribed format at the end of the programme.
No tuition fee is charged for the internship programme. An amount of Rs.2500/- (Rupees two thousand and five hundred) will be paid on recommendation of supervisor(s) for students selected under research projects.
Hostel accommodation will be provided for selected candidates if the programme is offline. Students will have to bear all the expenses on their own for boarding and lodging in the hostels (reasonable charges on per day basis). There is no provision for stipend for the students.
