Eligibility

Minimum Qualification – Pursuing PhD in an area related to Power Sector Regulation, Power System Economics, Power Market, Renewable Energy Policy and Regulation, Clean Energy Transition, Climate Policy and Carbon Market.

Stipend

₹ 60,000/month

Duration of Appointment

4 – 6 months

    Travel support –

    • International Applicant – upto ₹1,00,000 (on actuals for travel to Kanpur and return by the shortest route)
    • Indian Applicant – upto ₹15,000 (on actuals for travel to Kanpur and return by the shortest route)
    • Limited travel support within India may be provided on case-to-case basis for conference/workshop to present the work undertaken at CER IIT Kanpur.

    Selection

    The selection committee reserves the right to fix additional criteria for short listing of candidates satisfying the minimum qualifications. The selection will be through an online presentation on proposed research and interview. Only short-listed candidates will be informed via email about the date of interview.
