About Bookaroo
Bookaroo – a children’s literature festival set up by Bookaroo Trust, a public charitable trust – endeavours to make books come alive through interactions between children and creators of books and storytellers.
The festival that began in 2008 has, since, travelled to 17 cities (15 in India and one each in Malaysia and Sri Lanka) and has completed 46 editions in 15 years, focuses on ‘Reading for Pleasure’

Delhi
- Dates: 8th, 9th, and 10th November (8th is exclusively Schools Day)
- Venue: Sunder Nursery
Jaipur
- Dates: 16th and 17th November
- Venue: Jawahar Kala Kendra
Vadodara
- Dates: 30th November and 1st December
- Venue: Space Studio, Alembic City
Volunteer Requirements
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You should be available on all festival days at your chosen location.
- You should also have some availability in the days leading up to the festival to assist with preparations.
