Established in 2018, the Faculty of Law at Marwadi University provides integrated undergraduate programs in B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.) spanning across five years. Additionally, the faculty offers an LLM program specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law, Criminal and Security Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, and International and Comparative Law. Moreover, a four-year B.A. (Hons.) course is available, covering Psychology, Political Science, and Sociology.
The curriculum, designed to meet national and global legal sector standards, includes eight credit-based internships facilitated by the Internship Committee. With faculty members from diverse backgrounds, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the law.
Moreover, the Faculty of Law facilitates international student and faculty exchanges, with partnerships including institutions such as the Chicago-Kent College of Law (U.S.A.), LUISS Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (Italy), Faculty of Law,Hue University (Vietnam), University of Public Service (Hungary), and Faculty of Law, Karoli Gaspar University. In the backdrop of these initiatives, the Institute aims to nurture competent legal professionals dedicated to justice and social welfare.
Lawctopus (Lawctopus.com), which began in 2010, has established itself as the first port of call for law students and young lawyers in India. The online magazine today reaches nearly 3 lakh readers every month and publishes information about conferences, workshops, internships, jobs, and moot court competitions for the legal fraternity in India.

Lawctopus Law School (LLS) started in 2020, has taught the practical intricacies of law to over 15,000 legal learners in the short journey of less than half a decade. LLS’ focus has been on the practical learning of legal subjects by lawyers and experts ‘who have been there and done that’.

Marwadi University and Lawctopus Law School have entered into an MoU to offer a 1-year long Online Diploma in Intellectual Property and Technology Laws.
The Diploma in Intellectual Property and Technology Laws is a 24-credit program consisting of 8 courses of 2 credits each, an internship of 4 credits, and a dissertation of 4 credits.

A Learner shall also learn by doing assignments along with lectures from legal practitioners backed up by individual feedback. Lawctopus Law School is renowned for its practical learning, and as a Learner, we bring this unique experience to your classroom.
The course will have the traditional dissertation and internship/capstone project elements. Working on a dissertation will help the Learner dive deep into a topic and understand the nuances of analytical research. The internship/capstone project will help the Learner understand practical domains related to IPR and/or technology laws and aid in real-life, employability-enhancing skills.
The course will have an in-built conference/unconference where the students will get a chance to present their dissertations. We intend to make this a platform for 50-60 students to gain knowledge and insights from each others’ work.
