Electronics & ICT, NIT, Warangal, and SRGEC are inviting applications for the online FDP on machine learning applications in mechanical engineering. The application deadline is January 31, 2025!
The National Institute of Technology, Warangal, was the first of 17 Regional Engineering Colleges (RECs) established as a joint venture between the Government of India and the state government. Over the years, it has emerged as a leading institution offering high-quality technical education. NIT Warangal provides B.Tech degrees in various engineering disciplines, along with M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes across multiple specializations. All B.Tech and M.Tech programmes at the Institute are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
Seshadri Rao Gudlavalleru Engineering College, established in 1998 under the AANM & VVRSR Educational Society, is located in the serene town of Gudlavalleru, surrounded by lush green fields that provide a peaceful environment for learning. The college offers B.Tech programmes in nine branches of engineering, including Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. It also offers M.Tech and MBA programmes.
The college is permanently affiliated with JNTUK, Kakinada, and was granted Autonomous status by the UGC in 2014. All eligible undergraduate engineering programmes are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under Tier-I, and the college is also accredited by NAAC.
Artificial intelligence enables machines to mimic human behavior, while machine learning applies AI to systems, allowing them to self-learn and continuously improve. In mechanical engineering, machine learning has transformed traditional approaches, offering more efficient, cost-effective, and innovative solutions. By fostering data-driven decision-making, machine learning is reshaping the field, enhancing every stage from design and production to maintenance and operations. This integration has resulted in greater efficiency, reduced costs, and improved product quality.
The programme will be conducted by the faculty members from NIT Warangal; Academicians in the concerned field from IITs/NITs are invited to deliver lectures in the programme. Speakers from industries are also expected to deliver as part of the course.
Selection will be done based on first-come-first-serve basis. Candidates will be issued satisfactory certificates on successful completion of the course.
