Registrations are open for Online Short-Term Training Program (STTP) On Recent Advances in Freight Transportation by NIT Calicut on 17-22 July 2023. The last date of registration is 7 July.
National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is one of the 31 institutions of national importance set up by an Act of Parliament namely the ‘National Institute of technology Act 2007’, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The mandate of the Institute is to provide higher technical education and conduct research in the various branches of Engineering, Science, Technology and Management.
The transportation of goods and materials plays a vital role in the global economy. The challenges and opportunities in freight transport are numerous, and it is important to have a deep understanding of these to effectively navigate the rapidly changing landscape.
This short-term training program will provide participants with an overview of the challenges and opportunities facing the freight transport industry. Participants will gain an understanding of the latest trends, technologies, and policies that are driving change in the sector.
They will also develop skills and knowledge to help them identify and evaluate opportunities for innovation and growth.
