Applications are invited from Indian citizens for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in a SERB, GOI funded project in the department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Durgapur.
The National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (formerly Regional Engineering College, Durgapur), was established by an Act of Parliament in 1960 as one of the eight such colleges aimed to function as a pace setter for engineering education in the country and to foster national integration.
It is a fully-funded premier Technological Institution of the Government of India and is administered by an autonomous Board of Governors. The Institute is a University which awards B.Tech., M.C.A., M.Sc., M.B.A.,M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees to students after their successful completion of the specified courses.

Essential: M.E./M.Tech./M.S. in CSE/IT/equivalent with minimum 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from a recognized Institute/University selected through NET/GATE/ national level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies or institutes. Or B.Tech./B.E. in CSE/IT/equivalent with minimum 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks from any recognized Institute or University and NET/GATE (Qualified/valid Score) in CS. Or MCA/MSc./IMSc (Computer Science or Mathematics & Computing and related) with a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks from any recognized Institute/University and relevant NET qualification (in JRF) /GATE (Qualified/valid Score) in CS.
