Applications are invited for the NGO Fellowship Program 2024 by Taiwan Aid. The last date for the application is June 1, 2024.
Established by Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation, Zhi-Shan Foundation Taiwan, Eden Social Welfare Foundation, Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps, and Field Relief Agency of Taiwan in 2004 and registered in 2013, Taiwan AID (Taiwan Alliance in International Development) is a platform for Taiwan-based nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) with nearly 30 members working all over the world. Members are involved in various sectors, such as medical service, education, information, gender issues, emergency relief, community development, human trafficking, humanitarian assistance, and volunteer service.
The NGO Fellowship Program is a one-month opportunity for professionals from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Northeast Asia (including Japan, South Korea, and Mongolia) to gain first-hand experience in the Taiwanese NGO sector. The Program includes workshops, a three-week NGO placement, and roundtable events with the fellows’ Taiwanese counterparts.
Fellows’ expenses of flight, lodging (shared room), food, and transportation will be covered. Fellows will receive per diem during the three-week placement.

The recommendation letters can be provided by individuals familiar with your performance within your organization. Therefore, at least one recommendation letter should be issued by your supervisor or colleague. To gain insight into who you are as a candidate, we encourage your references to focus on describing your personality, creativity, leadership, and other relevant qualities. We do not have a preferred format for recommendation letters.
