The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programmes in all Central Universities for the Academic session 2023-24 under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates nationwide, especially those from rural and remote areas, and help establish better connections with the universities. A single examination will enable the candidates to cover various areas and be part of the admission process to various central universities.

The CUET 2024 exam is conducted online.
It has four sections: Section 1A, Section 1B, Section II, Section III.
An aspirant can attempt a maximum of nine tests, which can be taken in any order at the aspirant’s convenience.
According to the CUET Marking Scheme, 5 marks will be rewarded for correct answers, 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers, and candidates will receive zero marks for unanswered questions.
The CUET exam is conducted in two slots (Morning Session & Afternoon Session). The duration of both slots is 3 hrs 15 minutes & 3 hrs 45 minutes, respectively.
