The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) online from May 15 to May 31, 2024.
Exam Pattern
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has changed the CUET exam pattern. Here are the updated exam pattern details:
The CUET 2024 exam is conducted online.
It has four sections: Section 1A, Section 1B, Section II, Section III.
- Section 1A: 13 Languages (As a medium of exam paper and language paper as well)
- Section 1B: 20 Languages
- Section II: 27 Domain-Specific Subjects
- Section III: General Test
An aspirant can attempt a maximum of nine tests, which can be taken in any order at the aspirant’s convenience.
- 2 Languages, 6 Domain Specific Subjects, 1 General Test
- 3 Languages, 5 Domain Specific Subjects, 1 General Test
CUET 2024 Marking Scheme
According to the CUET Marking Scheme, 5 marks will be rewarded for correct answers, 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answers, and candidates will receive zero marks for unanswered questions.
CUET 2024 Exam Duration
The CUET exam is conducted in two slots (Morning Session & Afternoon Session). The duration of both slots is 3 hrs 15 minutes & 3 hrs 45 minutes, respectively.
