Elan & ηVision 2023 by IIT Hyderabad [Feb 17-19]: Register Now!

IIT Hyderabad is inviting registrations for Elan & ηVision 2023. The theme for this year is ‘Secrets of Valenrow – A Mystical Town Awaits’.

Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is one of the eight new IITs established by the Government of India in 2008. In a short span of 14 years, the institute has become a top ranker. It has 290+ full-time faculty,~4,200 students, 18 Departments + Centre for Interdisciplinary Programs, nearly 200+ state-of-the-art laboratories, and five research and entrepreneurship centers.

The institute has a strong research focus with approx. Rs ~700 crores of sanctioned research funding, with Ph.D. scholars accounting for about 30% of total student strength. IITH has more than 8,100+ research publications with 1,20,000+ citations, 190+ published patents, 2,000+ sponsored/consultancy projects with 500+ running projects, and about 100+ startups that have generated more than 1,000 jobs and a revenue of Rs. 800 Cr.

Elan & ηVision, the most anticipated and grandiose festival of IIT Hyderabad, is back with a conglomerate of splendiferous events to galvanize the mob. Since its inception, its fervid tendrils have touched the hearts of every adroit organizer and participant leaving a legacy to be upheld by its family of dedicated students.

Nearly two years later, they are back with an offline version which is bigger and better than ever. It promises to be an exciting experience for everyone with a variety of new activities, creative workshop ideas, and a tonne of energy. The fest nights are full of joy and frolic.

This year’s theme is ‘Secrets of Valenrow – A Mystical Town Awaits’. Protected by ancient magic woven into the bark and branches, and boundaries drawn into the undergrowth, the doors of this town will open during the 3 days of the fest. The 14th edition of this three-day spectacle will begin on February 17, 2023.

The weekend is planned out with various technological and cultural competitions. They also have a number of interesting workshops and seminars scheduled. And to make the evening more memorable, they have pro shows planned where different DJs, stand-up comedians, and singers are going to perform.

The social cause theme for this year is ‘Ikshana – Save Animals’. Because of human greed, animals have become a target of abuse. One of the major concerns of today’s modern world, they aim to give the issue a much-needed limelight and attraction. Animals also have the full right to live on earth as much as human beings have. They believe that every creation of mother nature should be treated with love, respect, and compassion.

Actress Amala Akkineni will be attending the fest to speak on the subject of their social cause and to emphasise the value of animal lives.

Sesha Kanthamraju, the CEO of Ramoji Film City, the largest film studio in the world, will discuss his views on the subject of ‘creative thinking inside the box’.

Elan & ηVision has an exciting online treasure hunt organised by the Literature Domain of the fest.

Hip-hop group dance competition in association with the Indian Hip-Hop Dance Championship. They will be having their Hyderabad audition round during the fest. The prize money for the same is worth Rs. 63k.

This is Valenrow’s thrilling quizzing extravaganza, which takes its name from the fest. They will have questions based on the OTT platform, India, sports, and general knowledge.

A thrilling opportunity for all soccer and robotics enthusiasts. Build your own robots and make them compete with other robots. They have exciting prices worth Rs. 40k.

It’s time for all glam enthusiasts and modeling aspirants to show off their style on the ramp. They have model Anil Rathod as their jury for Glitz and Glamour So Star Auditions.
