ISRO invites online applications from graduates for the following vacancies of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix for ISRO Recruitment 2023. The last date for applications is June 14, 2023.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of India. The organization is involved in science, engineering, and technology to harvest the benefits of outer space for India and mankind. ISRO is a major constituent of the Department of Space (DOS), Government of India.
NOTE:
28 years as of 14.06.2023. Serving Central Govt. employees, Ex-Servicemen; Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, are eligible for age relaxation as per Govt. of India orders.
Written Test
It will be conducted at eleven venues viz., Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. However, ISRO reserves the right to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test center. The call letters for the written test will be sent only to the registered e-mail ID of the candidates.
The pattern of the Question Paper for the Written Test:
Interview
Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be short-listed for Interviews in a ratio of 1:5, with an aggregate minimum of 10 candidates. For reserved vacancies, distinct/additional candidates will be short-listed in the ratio of 1:5 (maximum), without regard to the reserved candidates if any, short-listed under the UR category.

For the generation of the final panel, 50% weightage will be given to Written Test marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks.
Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹.56,100/- p.m. In addition, Dearness Allowance [DA], House Rent Allowance [HRA], and Transport Allowance are payable as per extant rules on the subject. The employees will be governed by the New Pension Scheme. Further, medical facilities for self and dependents, subsidized canteen, limited quarters facility (in lieu of HRA), Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, House Building Advance, etc. are admissible as per Central Government orders.
