VSSC ISRO Internship at Thiruvananthapuram: Apply by August 31

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO invites applications from eligible candidates for the VSSC ISRO Internship opportunity at the Thiruvananthapuram location. The last date for application is August 31, 2023.

The Indian Space Research Organisation is the national space agency of India, headquartered in Bangalore. It operates under the Department of Space (DOS) which is directly overseen by the Prime Minister of India, while the Chairman of ISRO acts as the executive of DOS as well. 

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is a major space research center of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), focusing on rockets and space vehicles for India’s satellite program. It is located in Thiruvananthapuram, in the Indian state of Kerala. The center had its beginnings as the Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS) in 1962. It was renamed in honor of Vikram Sarabhai, often regarded as the father of the Indian space program.

The duration of the Internship will be a minimum of 21 days & maximum of 45 days from October to December 2023. On account of the large number of applications received for an internship, it may not be possible to accommodate all the applicants. Therefore the students are advised to identify other organizations also as an alternative, in the event of their application not getting through in the selection process
