Who can participate?
The hackathon is open to engineering students, developers, and tech enthusiasts passionate about embedded systems, microcontrollers, and cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
Themes and Tracks
Participants will get to solve real-world challenges under the following domains:
- Automotive Cabin Monitoring System – Enhance safety and comfort within vehicle cabins using advanced monitoring technologies.
- Build-a-SoC MCU Challenge – Design and develop a System-on-Chip (SoC) Microcontroller Unit (MCU) to optimize performance for specific applications.
- Defend the Kingdom – Develop cutting-edge security solutions to protect digital and physical infrastructure against cyber threats.
- Pattern Play with CAPSENSE – Utilize capacitive sensing technology to develop innovative human-machine interaction systems.
Competition Format
- Round 1: Online Nomination & Proof of Concept Submission
- Teams submit their project ideas & initial concepts online.
- Evaluated based on innovation, feasibility, and alignment with Infineon’s focus areas.
- Final Round: Onsite Hackathon & Innovation Challenge
- Shortlisted teams refine their solutions, develop prototypes, and present to the judges.
Participant Benefits and Guidelines
- Food & accommodation provided – Infineon ensures a comfortable experience for all onsite participants.
- Travel reimbursement – ₹2500 per participant for shortlisted teams.
- Project submissions must align with one of Infineon’s challenge domains.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college placement department required for internship eligibility.
- Projects will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges based on innovation, feasibility, technical execution, and impact.
