AICTE Internship for J&K, Ladakh and North East Students. The last date of application is May 10, 2025.

All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) was set up in November 1945 as a national-level apex advisory body to conduct a survey on the facilities available for technical education and to promote development in the country in a coordinated and integrated manner.

The objective of this scheme is to provide exposure to Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh & North East, youth to academic culture at Institutions of Higher learning.

It is expected that they will be working on cutting edge research in the field of science and technology under the guidance of faculties from these premier institutions.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands & North Eastern states domicile, studying Engineering & Technology, Management, Design, Applied Arts and Crafts, BBA, BCA, Hotel Management & Catering Technology in AICTE approved institution, are eligible to apply.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students of Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands & North Eastern states domicile, studying Engineering & Technology, Management, Design, Applied Arts and Crafts, BBA, BCA, Hotel Management & Catering Technology in AICTE approved institution, are eligible to apply.

The internship in these premier institutes are devised for a period of 15 days in on-campus mode. During the internship period, the interns will undergo lecture sessions, hands on training, exposure to the academic environment of these premier institutes, interactions with the students, teachers and alumni, exposure to the incubation/ innovation centres and projects.

The selection procedure consists of preliminary screening of applications, followed by test/ interview.

Selection depends upon consistently brilliant academic performance (relative rank in the class/University), work carried out by the student besides his regular academic work, participation/recognition in competitions such as Techfest, Olympiads, National Talent Search Exams, and performance in the interview.
