All UG and PG students can apply for the FSSAI Internship 2025. The application deadline is April 4, 2025!
FSSAI establishes science-based standards for food articles and regulates their manufacture, storage, distribution, sale, and import to ensure the availability of safe and wholesome food to the 130 crore citizens of the country. The authority is also tasked with creating an information network nationwide, enabling the public, consumers, and others to receive prompt, reliable, and accurate information about food safety, hygiene, and related concerns.
In its third year, the FSSAI Internship Scheme offers professional development opportunities for young talent in the field of Food and Nutrition through a collaborative Inter-Industry-Academia partnership.
If you possess innovative ideas that can add value to this sector, the program provides an opportunity to implement them through live projects. This platform allows you to contribute to meaningful change in the food landscape of the country while gaining a challenging and rewarding experience. FSSAI will ensure that a well-structured training calendar supports your progress and development throughout the internship.
Students pursuing a full-time Graduate/Post Graduate Degree/higher degree from a recognized Institute within India/ abroad in any of the following:
Pursuing Post Graduate Degree/B.Tech/BE from a recognized University or Institution in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Food Science & Technology or Food & Nutrition or Edible Oil Technology or Microbiology or Dairy Technology or Agricultural or horticultural Sciences or Industrial Microbiology or Toxicology or Public Health or Life Science or Biotechnology or Fruit & Vegetable Technology or Food Safety and Quality Assurance.
Note—Students in their third or fourth year of a four-year bachelor’s program in food technology or a related field can also apply.
Internships will be available throughout the year at different points of time. All internships offered will be for duration of minimum 4 weeks.
