Applications are invited for Internship Program 2024 at IIIT Kottayam (I2CS Summer Internship). The last date of application is March 10.
The Internship program is conducted by the Integrated Circuits & Systems Lab of Indian Institute of Information Technology Kottayam, Kerala. The cream of the faculty including Dr. Kala S, Dr. Minu A pillai, Dr. Lakshmi N S, Dr. M Gopal, and Dr. Venkatesh S are directly engaged in this comprehensive program.
The internship is designed specifically in the area of VLSI, FPGA, IoT, hardware security, energy harvesting, sensor networks, Analog/RF IC design, and nanoelectronics. The lab is equipped with robust Cadence tools for IC design, Xilinx FPGA boards, MicroChip SoC boards, Arduino boards and sensors, Matlab, and more. The goal is to provide interns with a hands-on experience of working on various funded and collaborative projects, and to develop necessary skill sets.
The selected interns will be working majorly on research related projects in the field of Deep learning architectures, Approximate computing, hardware security, vibration energy harvesting, acoustic source localization, sensor networks, LNA for RF transceivers, voltage-controlled oscillators, advanced MOS devices, SRAM, material characterisation & data interpretation and energy storage applications.
Candidates applying for the internship must have a strong inclination towards VLSI Design, RF Circuits and sensors. They should be ready to work on large projects in a focused and dedicated manner.
Aspirants of UG/PG (Ongoing or Completed) are eligible for this internship.
This Internship calls for UG/PG students (Ongoing or Completed) who have requisite knowledge in the mentioned areas of work.
A stipulated internship fee of Rs. 5000 is expected. However, it can be paid after the shortlisting of interns.

Initially, the mode of the internship is Hybrid. However, after joining, an offline visit may be planned based on the situation.
