About Product Assurance Engineering Team
The Product Assurance Engineering Team is an integral part of Seagate’s Quality department, responsible for the verification and validation of products across Seagate’s HDD, SSD, and Systems portfolios. As a key member of a dynamic, global team, our goal is to provide the most cost-effective solutions for large-scale capacity environments. We foster a collaborative team culture while also acknowledging and celebrating exceptional individual achievements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Complete internship project as per plan
- Assist with maintaining engineering laboratory and equipment
- Develop test infrastructure and framework
- Understand the design details of the storage systems
- Understand the product and infrastructure architecture and implementation
- Develop and execute test cases
- Generate reports
- Collaborate with the teams to ensure full integration of all parts of the system
Required Skill Sets
- Knowledge of Algorithms and data structures.
- Candidate must be self-motivated.
- Candidate must have good analytical skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.
- Your experience includes:
- Programming in Python/ PHP/ Java.
- Knowledge in test, Automation, networking, lab tools, lab equipment, OS installation.
