About the Role
Inkers is seeking passionate interns to join its team and work on cutting-edge robotics and computer vision projects. This opportunity allows interns to enhance their skills while contributing to innovative solutions in SLAM systems, sensor fusion, and ROS-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize SLAM algorithms for real-world applications.
- Integrate sensor fusion techniques for robust data processing.
- Work extensively with ROS.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and enhance existing systems.
- Document progress, processes, and results effectively.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Good understanding of SLAM systems and sensor fusion concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ROS and related tools.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, with an ability to implement them efficiently.
Qualifications
- Final year or recently completed an academic degree in Robotics, Computer Science, AI or related fields.
- Prior experience in robotics or computer vision projects (academic or professional).
Preferred Skills
- Having a solid foundation in computer vision principles and algorithms.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models for computer vision tasks.
- Familiarity with libraries and frameworks like OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Knowledge of point cloud processing, 3D mapping, or visual odometry.
