Job Description

Micron offers a wide & attractive range of career opportunities. One of the rapidly growing functions within Micron India is the Micron NAND Component Validation team in Hyderabad within the Product Engineering (PE) group. As part of this group, the candidate will be responsible for the development, validation, characterization, and qualification of new state-of-the-art NAND Flash memory products.

There is tremendous scope for individual learning and career growth in this role. In addition to the responsibilities, the candidate will also work cross functionally with NAND R&D, Design, Technology Development and other various engineering teams towards new product startup, definition, validation & delivery of product specifications and requirements. Also, Product Engineers are the key product-specific point of contact with high visibility for critical issues and act as the main interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Quality Assurance departments.

Responsibilities and Learnings

  • NAND product test development, validation, characterization & qualification
  • Pre-silicon conceptual design and preparation work
  • Run Verilog (Digital) and Analog design simulations, Analyze, Debugging pre-silicon Full Chip designs.
  • Create and maintain design and validation documentation
  • Wafer level micro-probing to identify circuit level and design level anomalies
  • Post-Si activities involving hands-on measurements on wafer probe stations and testers for design validation
  • Exposure to bench testing equipment and state-of-the-art tester-coding environments. Utilize engineering bench and testers to perform device characterization and electrical failure analysis
  • Contribute to the improvement of any existing pre, post silicon flows and methodologies as per current Industry trends.
  • Develop and refine best known methods and automation for design validation of current and future products using C++, Python
  • Drive issue resolution taskforce and debug efforts, especially during critical first Silicon issues
  • Apply knowledge of statistics and data analysis to deep dive and solve high speed performance problems & enable product leadership
  • Effective communication and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • MTech/Dual Degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred. BTech candidates can also be considered as per situation.
  • Course work in VLSI technology, analog/digital circuits, semiconductor process and semiconductor device physics
