Microsoft India (R&D) Private Limited, a subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, established the Microsoft India Development Centre (MSIDC) in Hyderabad in 1998. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest R&D centres for Microsoft outside of its headquarters in Redmond.
Software Engineers (SWEs) at Microsoft collaborate closely with teammates to solve complex problems and deliver innovative software solutions. They demonstrate a strong passion for customer needs and product quality while offering technical guidance to Technical Program Managers and Product Managers, ensuring alignment with user requirements and business objectives.
In this role, engineers are expected to continuously adopt and apply new technologies, tools, and processes to strengthen their solutions. Their work spans the design, development, and testing of next-generation software aimed at empowering individuals and organizations worldwide to achieve more.
As interns, students have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects alongside global teams.
