Applications are invited for Summer Internship 2025 at IIIT Delhi. The last date of application is March 31.
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) was created by an Act of Delhi legislature empowering it to carry out R&D, conduct educational programs, and grant degrees. The General Council is the apex body of the Institute, chaired by Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi and the Board of Governors is the policy and decision-making body of the Institute. The Senate is empowered to take all academic decisions.
Each year our faculty members invest their time, effort & innovation in some great real-time projects. The projects are listed below. A student can apply for a max of 03 projects.
Registration will start from 1st March 2025. The last date to apply is 31st March 2025. The results will be up on the website by 15th April 2025 & the internship will commence from 6th May 2025.

| 9 | Vinayak Abrol | Low-Rank Adaptation for Alignment in Speech & Text LLMs | SpeechLLM is a multi-modal Large Language Model (LLM) designed to understand and process speech and audio inputs. In this project we will explore adaptation/alignment of Speech and Text LLMs for zero-shot applications. Pre-requisite: Strong programming skills in Pytorch/TF. Experience building, training/fine-tuning DL models and LLMs on custom datasets. DLOps for inference/training acceleration using custom kernels and/or PEFT including Quantization is a plus. In nutshell, no matter the tools/libraries, you should be comfortable modifying source code to implement crazy ideas and test them experimentally. Stipend per month (depending on skill set): 10-30K for students enrolled in Bachelors/Masters program; 30-40K for students enrolled in PhD program. Selection will include a live coding round to test DL skills.
