Summer Internship Program 2024 at NIT Meghalaya [6-8 Weeks, June 3- July 27]: Apply by April 20

Applications are invited for Summer Internship Program 2024 at NIT Meghalaya. The last date of application is April 20.

National Institute of Technology Meghalaya is offering Summer Internship Program for the session June – July, 2024. The main objective of this programme is to encourage the bright and well-motivated students of different institutions to pursue an innovative research and development project work under the guidance of faculty members of NIT Meghalaya.

The internship is available in the following departments: Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC), Computer Science & Engineering (CS), Civil Engineering (CE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Chemistry (CY), and Mathematics (MA). The list of projects for the Summer Internship Program is provided in Annexure-I.

Eligibility:

The internship shall be for a period of minimum 6 weeks and maximum 8 weeks between 3^rd June and 27^th July, 2024.

Interested students have to submit the application form for the Summer Internship Program at NIT Meghalaya. The scanned copy of the duly filled application form forwarded by their Head of Department/ Institution must be sent through email to summer.internship@nitm.ac.in by 20^th April 2024. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered for further processing.

Selection of applications will be based on the recommendations of selection committee of the respective departments at NIT Meghalaya. NIT Meghalaya reserves the right to accept or reject an application without assigning any reason thereof. List of shortlisted candidates for the Summer Internship Program will be published on the institute website by 1^st May 2024. No postal communication will be made in this regard.

Selected candidates have to deposit Rs. 7500/- as a caution money which is refundable only after the successful completion of the internship. Details of payment process will be uploaded with list of shortlisted candidates on institute website.
