Engagement of Apprentice Trainees at NIT Calicut [Salary of Rs. 8k; 6 Months]: Apply by Jan 23

Applications are invited from eligible students for internship during summer vacation 2024 or project internship in various laboratories at NIT Calicut.

The summer internship programme will be generally offered for a period up to 60 days during the summer vacation during the period in May-July 2024, in line with the academic calendar of NITC. Limited candidates may be permitted to do projects using the specific laboratory facilities in certain departments.

Students who are completing the Second/Third year (or Fourth/Sixth semester) B.Tech. / BE, or Fourth/Sixth/Eighth semester B. Arch. and students completing the First Year (or second semester) of M.Tech./ ME/ M.Sc./M. Plan/MA/MBA, having a CGPA not less than 6.5 (out of 10) OR an aggregate mark, not less than 65%, up to and including the last semester (for which results are published so far) are eligible to apply. Only regular full-time students with no back papers and no disciplinary action from the parent Institute are eligible to apply.

Interested students need to fill up and submit the Google form with the necessary information on or before 10th April 2024.

The selection of interns will be done by the panel members appointed by the Centre for Career Development, NITC based on the following parameters but not limited to:

List of selected candidates and their mentors (from NIT Calicut) will be published on the Institute website (www.nitc.ac.in).

₹ 5900 (₹ 5000 + 18% GST) for a two-month internship and ₹ 3540 (₹ 3000 +18% GST) for one-month internship. Candidates must pay fees only after their selection is confirmed.
