The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) is a leading graduate school of management in Asia. Under the IIM Act of 2017, IIMB is an Institute of National Importance.
IIM Bangalore offers Degree-Granting Programmes, a Diploma Programme, Certificate Programmes and Executive Education Programmes and specialised courses in areas such as entrepreneurship and public policy.
IIMB has 108 full-time faculty members, about 1,200 students across various degree granting programmes and nearly 5,000 annual Executive Education participants.
Located in India’s high technology capital, we are in close proximity to some of the leading corporate houses in the country, ranging from information technology to consumer product companies, giving us the added advantage of integrating classroom knowledge with practical experience.
Master’s degree in Statistics or Operations Research or closely related field (Industrial Engineering, Applied Math, Scientific Computing, etc.); additionally, an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is equivalent to master’s degree from reputed business schools will also be considered.
The right candidate will have excellent academic credentials and would likely be interested in pursuing an academic career in Decision Sciences (primarily, statistics, operations research, and business analytics).
The selected incumbent is required to provide teaching and research support to the faculty of Decision Sciences Area.
Two Positions in IIMB, Bannerghatta Road.
Initially for a period of one year and extendable to a maximum period of three years.

Salary
An all-inclusive monthly stipend in the range of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 36,000/- plus an additional housing allowance of Rs. 8,000/- based on educational qualification and experience of the applicant.
