Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram is an Institution of National Importance established in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and is located at the outskirts of Chennai (Off Vandalur-Kelambakkam Road).
It is a Centre of Excellence for pursuing Design and Manufacturing Oriented Engineering Education and Research and for promoting the competitive advantage of Indian products in global markets.
The institute is inviting applications for the project entitled “Situational Awareness in Self-driving Cars using Machine Learning” funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) – Department of Science and Technology (DST). The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance.
Monthly fellowship of Rs. 31000/- for selected candidates.
The selected candidates may register for a Ph.D. degree at IIITDM Kancheepuram as per Institute rules.
