An Online/Walk-in-interview of eligible Indian citizens for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB-DST sponsored research project in the Mechanical Engineering Department, National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, Jamshedpur, India will be held as per the details mentioned below details:
National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, earlier known as Regional Institute of Technology was established on 15th August 1960 as a joint venture of Government of India and the Government of Bihar in the chain of REC’s (Regional Engineering College) in India with the aim to generate technical graduates of highest standards who could provide technological leadership to the region.

3 years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to 3 years subjected to satisfactory performance of the JRF and extension of the project.
