The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY), Government of India, focuses on Human Resource Development in Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). It offers both formal and non-formal education, industry-oriented training, and certification programs in IT.

With 47 centers across India and 700+ affiliated institutes, NIELIT provides diverse courses, including O, A, B, and C levels, CCC, BCC, and specialized training in Information Security, ITeS-BPO, Bioinformatics, Embedded Systems, and M.Tech programs. It also undertakes R&D, consultancy, software development, and national projects, such as the National Population Register (NPR) and Agriculture Census. NIELIT aims to become an Institute of National Importance through innovation and digital transformation.

On behalf of the Standardization Testing & Quality Certification (STQC) Directorate, an attached office of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for the post of Scientific Assistant in STQC.

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, including educational qualifications and experience (if applicable), as specified in the official notification. The qualifications must be obtained from a recognized university or institution established under the Central or State Government or recognized under the UGC Act.
