Applications are invited for France-Nokia Scholarship 2024 by Nokia Foundation. The last date of application is approaching soon.

Established as an initiative of Nokia Oyj in August 1995, the Nokia Foundation promotes and supports scientific development and education throughout Finland’s information and telecommunications technology sectors. Multidisciplinary research in these areas, in addition to approaches from other scientific fields, such as social, behavioral, business and service sciences, are also highly valued.

To help achieve its mission, the Foundation offers annual grants and awards to most qualified applicants. Decisions are made by the Foundation’s Board Members, which include representatives from both Finnish universities and Nokia.

The France-Nokia Chaire d’Excellence in Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) offers a unique opportunity for a French scholar to engage in an international research collaboration. The Chaire d’Excellence position is available for scholars and specialists in Information and Communications Technologies and includes research and lecturing at a higher education or research institution in Finland.

The scholar and the Finnish host institution work together in designing the Chair position activities.

The France-Nokia Chaire d’Excellence in Information and Communications Technologies is jointly funded by the Nokia Foundation and the French researcher home institution.

In 2024, Nokia Foundation can grant a scholarship up to 5000 euros. A scholarship can be granted only once to the same individual.
