Applications are invited for Reliance Foundation Scholarships 2024-25 for UG and PG Students. The last date of application is October 6.
Reliance has been providing scholarships to meritorious students for over 25 years, inspired by Reliance Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani’s belief that the best way to ensure the nation’s progress is to invest in its youth. Over the years, Reliance Foundation scholarship programmes have impacted the lives of 23,000 youth across India.
Half of India’s population, or over 600 million Indians, are under the age of 25. Reliance Foundation is committed to strengthening young people’s access to higher education in India. Every year the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships supports 5,000 meritorious students based on a merit-cum-means criteria for their undergraduate college education, empowering them to continue their studies without financial burden.
The Scholarships aim to enable students to become successful professionals and realise their dreams, unlocking their potential to lift themselves and their communities up and contribute towards India’s future socio-economic development.
Students with a household income of under Rs. 15 lakh who are enrolled in first year (academic year 2024-25) of their undergraduate studies pursuing any subject stream can apply. The programme will also aim to encourage applications by girls and specially-abled students.
Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of up to 2 lakhs over the duration of their degree programme. In addition to the scholarship grant, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships will provide scholars an opportunity to be part of a vibrant alumni network and an enabling support system that will create a long-term impact on their lives and career trajectories.

The advent of 5G has also unleashed a wave of demand for a new generation of digital and technical skills: by 2025, India will require an estimated 22 million skilled workers possessing 5G-related competencies.
Furthermore, technological breakthroughs in renewable and new energy have offered a reliable promise and a massive opportunity to secure the promise of a sustainable future for generations to come if new solutions can be developed for creating reliable, clean and affordable energy solutions for India and the world. In addition, Biotechnology-based, therapeutic products and services in multiple medical domains are also being developed to address unmet medical needs.
In this context, the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships aim to nurture world-class talent that will help power India’s new era of growth. Reliance Foundation will identify and support 100 of India’s brightest postgraduate students pursuing select future-ready courses from Engineering and Life-Sciences with a generous grant award and a strong development programme, nurturing future leaders who can think big, think green, think digital for the benefit of society.
First-year postgraduate students from institutes across India pursuing degree programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Renewable and New Energy, Material Science & Engineering and Life Sciences are eligible to apply. Reliance Foundation Scholarships will nurture and support these bright students with a holistic development programme, including expert interactions, industry exposure and volunteering opportunities creating a cohort of excellence, every year.
