Registrations are open for Workshop on Inspiring Women in Science and Technology on 18-22 September 2023. The last date of registration is 14 September.
National Institute of Technology Patna is the 18th National Institute of Technology created by the Ministry of H.R.D. Government of India after rechristening the erstwhile Bihar College of Engineering Patna on 28. 01. 2004. NIT Patna marked its humble beginning in 1886 with the establishment of pleaders survey training school which was subsequently promoted of Bihar College of Engineering Patna in 1924.
The workshop with the theme and title Inspiring Women in Science and Technology is proposed to be conducted from Sept. 18 to Sept. 22, 2023.
The workshop is aimed at analyzing the achievements of women in science and technology in general and also encouraging the road ahead in this regard, apart from highlighting the challenges and hurdles and suggesting remedial measures in order to inspire women in science and technology in India. Workshop includes online interaction with NIT Patna Alumni and short lecture from faculty members.
