Tata Technologies InnoVent Hackathon 2024

Tata Technologies InnoVent Hackathon 2024

Registrations are open for Tata Technologies InnoVent Hackathon 2024 in collaboration with Microsoft and Tata Motors. The last date of registration is July 31.

Through the Tata Technologies InnoVent program, engineering students have a unique opportunity to tackle real-world challenges across the product value chain using Generative AI. This initiative, in collaboration with Microsoft and Tata Motors, equips shortlisted project teams with cutting-edge innovation tools and access to Generative AI use cases and technologies.

We aim to empower young minds to innovate, design, and engineer next-generation product engineering, product manufacturing, and digital transformation solutions.

Top-performing teams will receive mentorship and guidance from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Tata Technologies, Tata Motors, and the Microsoft Azure community. These experts will help shape the projects for scalability and impact, ensuring that the innovations are practical and transformative.

Generative AI is set to transform manufacturing by enhancing product design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and after-sales. We’re excited to collaborate with Microsoft and Tata Motors to offer engineering students a platform to develop generative AI solutions for the manufacturing industry.

Tata Technologies will oversee the program’s planning and execution. Microsoft will provide top teams with access to Azure sandbox environment and mentorship from the Azure community. Tata Motors will support mentoring and implementation of top projects.

All final year and pre-final year diploma/engineering students pursuing B.E., B.Tech., and Dual Degree programs in India can participate in InnoVent.

Stage 1 – Project registration

Teams need to register by submitting their project application form. Once the application form passes a plagiarism check, a panel of experts will review all submissions and shortlist the promising projects.

Stage 2 – Virtual POC presentation

The shortlisted teams will present a technical presentation and virtual Proof Of Concept / Prototype on their project to a panel of SMEs. The top teams from this pool will then advance to the final demo round.

Stage 3 – Final demo day

The top shortlisted teams will demonstrate their Proof Of Concept / Prototype to our jury panel in a physical event followed by a Q&A session. The top teams will be identified as winners.
