Job Description
Firmware Automation Engineer is responsible for the design and development of firmware and automated test environments for computer peripherals products and works with global teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will
- Design, Develop and Integrate automation frameworks to validate the firmware features of Logitech products.
- Integrate CI/CD platforms for Logitech products.
- Collaborate and work with developers across the globe during firmware development.
- Develop automated tests to evaluate the overall system reliability using Python test framework, C, and C++.
Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
- 3+ Years of experience in firmware development and test framework.
- Strong in programming/debugging/troubleshooting using C and Python.
- Good understanding of ARM Cortex architecture-based microcontrollers.
- Experience in communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Bluetooth, etc.
- Experience in sensors, motors, and actuators or any other.
- Strong debugging skills, all the way from application to hardware, and experience in using Oscilloscope, USB Analyser, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and a good team player.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
In addition, preferable skills include
- Experience in C++ and/or Java.
- Experience in building systems such as Jenkins and CI/CD tools.
- Experience in Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms.
