About IIT Ropar
At present, the institute offers Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) programme in the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
This programme is spread over a period of eight semesters. The institute also offers M.Tech programme in several disciplines including Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
The institute also offers M.Sc programme in the following disciplines : Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Additionally the institute also offers M.S(R) programmes in Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering. The institute also offers doctoral programmes in the following areas:

Eligibility Criteria
- For IR Website management: Graduation (B.Tech CSE/BCA in regular mode) with at least 60% marks and having knowledge of coding.
- For creating database of universities worldwide: Minimum Qualification: Graduation in any stream with at least 60% marks. Desirable: Master’s degree
- For making strategic planning to increase the number of international students admission: Minimum Qualification: MBA in any stream with at least 60% marks.

Internship will be for the duration for six months.
