Job Overview
Microsoft’s Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSC) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Their mission is to deliver the world’s computers with an industry-leading supply chain.
- CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of data centre assets worldwide.
- Microsoft is looking for a high-energy Program Manager intern who is passionate about Supply Chain and operations while solving complex business optimization problems at scale.
- The desired individual will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and strong project management skills.

Responsibilities
- We are looking for a high-energy Program Manager who is passionate about operations and solving complex business optimization problems on a scale.
- Excellent organization, communication, and project management with BI (business intelligence) and Analytical skills will lead to success in this role, in addition to getting an opportunity to build cloud-related business acumen and sharpen program/technical management skills.
- Lead with outstanding communication, problem-solving, and program management skills.
- Identify priorities, support automation and tool improvements, and apply process excellence to manage a high-volume workload.
- Embrace a continuous improvement mentality and use a data-driven approach to solve problems and manage change.
- Define and control the CSC program scope while supporting business objectives..
- Manage escalations and resolve issues to unblock non-standard or complex scenarios. Research issues to identify root causes and drive improvements.
- Become a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and partner teams. Enable cross-functional collaboration. Answer questions and facilitate compliant procurement practices.
- Create user resources and guidance, develop process documentation, and deliver training.
- Perform in-depth analysis to identify key business risks and opportunities and make recommendations.
- Distill complex data and relationships into clear, concise charts and visualizations, root cause analysis and business insights using Power BI
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MBA (or equivalent) from a Tier-I management institute in India.
- Tech / M. Tech / MS degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field a plus.
- 2 – 4 years of relevant work experience in program management in a technology/product firm is a plus.
- Great communication skills – both oral & written.
- Proven ability to work in teams.
- Experience working with BI reporting tools, and a strong knowledge of Supply chain management, and the cloud is a plus.
- Excellent Analytics and Power BI skills.
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Experience driving improvements or process enhancements based on data insights.
- Ability to maintain good judgment in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Good attitude and flexibility in changing circumstances with cross-regional collaboration.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, simplify, and provide clarity.
- Strong program management skills involving multiple internal and external partners.
- Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
