About the Program
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme aims to provide foundational support to individuals, who are deserving & meritorious but may lack the resources to pursue their dreams. Along with the financial support, this scholarship programme will also focus on mentorship and career guidance to the beneficiaries as and when required.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Class 11 2022-23
Eligibility
- Must have passed Class 10 board examination in 2022
- Must be enrolled in Class 11 at a recognised school in India
- Must have scored at least 75% in Class 10 board exams
- Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs

INR 20,000 per annum for 2 years
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for 3 Year Graduation 2022-23
Eligibility
- Must have passed Class 12 board examination in 2022
- Must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 board exams
- Must be enrolled in a 3-year graduation programme in a recognised institution in India
- Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs
Benefits
INR 30,000 per year for 3 years
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Professional Categories 2022-23
Eligibility
- Must have passed Class 12 board examination in 2022
- Must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 board exams
- Must be enrolled in any recognised professional category (B.E./B.Tech/BDS/MBBS/Others) in India
- Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs
Benefits
INR 30,000 per annum for 4 years.
Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Sportsperson 2022-23
Eligibility
- Must have represented at state/national level in the last 3 years
- Must be ranked within the top 500 in the national ranking/ within the top 100 in the state ranking
- Must be aged between 9 and 20 years as on 31st August 2022
- Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs
- Must be affiliated with a Sports Coach or a recognized Sports Body/Federation/Academy
- Playing individual sports such as chess, boxing, athletics, swimming, badminton, cycling, gymnastics, martial arts, powerlifting, running, etc.

- Financial support of Rs.75,000 per year for 3 years
- Mentorship support from the Colgate KIS Program
Keep India Smiling Foundational Grant for Individuals Helping Others 2022-23
Eligibility
- Must be involved in activities, which is impacting more than 20-25 people (multiplier effect) and are done at an individual level:
- Teaching, training, skilling a group of underprivileged children or providing sports training to them
- The scholarship award for community help is not applicable for NGOs, that receive corporate funds or donation receipts of more than INR 1 lakh in a year
- Must be from the economically weaker or moderate-income group of society
- Graduation as minimum educational qualification
- Relevant community references are to be provided by the candidate

- Provides financial support of Rs.75,000 per year for 2 years
- Mentorship support from the Colgate KIS Program
