About IOCL
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd is India’s largest commercial enterprise, accounting for nearly half of India’s petroleum products market share. Incorporated as Indian Oil Company Ltd. on 30th June 1959, it was renamed as Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. on 1st September 1964 following the merger of Indian Refineries Ltd. with it. IndianOil and its subsidiaries account for nearly half of India’s petroleum products market share, 35% of national refining capacity and 71% of downstream sector pipeline capacity in India. The IndianOil Group owns and operates 10 of India’s 20 refineries, with a combined refining capacity of 80.7 million metric tonnes per annum (MMTPA).
Internship Details
The application receipt process for Guwahati Refinery’s Winter Internship 2024-25 has started. Training will be in physical mode.

Training Details
- Batch 1 – 6th Dec 2024
- Batch 2 – 3rd Jan 2025
Students may select the batch accordingly. Selected students will receive a confirmation mail for physical reporting. Please go through the “How to Apply” section carefully before applying online.
Application Process
- Students intending to apply for an internship have to create an ID first.
- After creation, the online application form has to be filled out.
- The institute name must be selected from the drop-down menu. The name of a particular institute shall appear in the drop-down menu only if the institute has registered on this website through the official Training & Placement mail ID.
- If the Institute Name doesn’t appear in the drop-down menu, select Other from the drop-down list, and you will be redirected to another page where you can add the details of the Institute. After successful submission, you will be redirected to your application form again; now you can select the Institute name from the drop-down list and fill up the remaining fields.
- The form must include a copy of the last issued mark sheet and the Institute NOC/Consent letter for the internship.
- After submitting the application form, the student must send a hard copy of the document by speed post.
Note: Merely applying online doesn’t ensure successful completion of the internship. Documents must reach the Guwahati Refinery(GR) L&D Centre for consideration by GR authorities.
