Responsibilities
- Familiar with Systems, Network, and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Utilize compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI, NIST, ISO 27001) to pinpoint and apply essential security controls.
- Detect unused access in AWS and enforce least privilege policies within IAM.
- Automate security tool reporting processes.
- Design architecture to enable network segmentation within the cloud environment.
- Work closely with the IT team to implement suggested security enhancements.
- Automate security incident detection and response through scripting languages.
Qualifications
- BTech Computer Science/IT with coding experience
- Preferred: Specialization in Cybersecurity/Network/Infrastructure
Required Skill Sets
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of enterprise IT, cloud infrastructure, systems, hardware, and operating systems.
- Experience with infrastructure scripting and automation tools is preferred (e.g., Python, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Mac, Windows, etc.).
- Familiarity with container management solutions (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS).
- Understanding of automation and configuration management in the cloud (e.g., CFEngine, Jenkins, Puppet, Ansible).
- Awareness of OWASP Top 10, DDoS attacks, and general bot attacks.
- Knowledge of vulnerabilities and their management.
- Understanding of network security and endpoint security controls.
- Willingness to conduct audits and support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) requirements.
Soft Skills
- Analytical thinking and problem solving attitude
- Detail oriented and expert in both qualitative and quantitative analysis with a passion for delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders
- Experience creating presentations in MS PowerPoint or a similar tool
- Strong business acumen with aptitude to apply it critically towards solving problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills — including written and oral communication skills
