Job Description
As a Full Stack Developer Intern at Tata CLiQ, the intern will play a key role in both front-end and back-end development, assisting in the building and optimization of the company’s e-commerce platform. This position offers hands-on learning opportunities, allowing the intern to apply modern web technologies and work across the entire development lifecycle. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and analytics, to deliver features aimed at enhancing the customer experience and contributing to business growth.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development– Work on both the client side (front-end) and server side (back-end) of applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Front-End Implementation- Assist in creating responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries or frameworks. Collaborate with the design team to maintain brand consistency.
- Back-End Integration– Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and database structures. Help optimize data flow and ensure robust, scalable application architecture.
- Collaboration & Code Review– Participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews. Work with senior developers to follow best practices and maintain coding standards.
- Testing & Debugging– Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Troubleshoot issues and assist in improving application reliability and performance.
- Research & Innovation– Stay updated on emerging technologies and open-source tools. Suggest new ideas and approaches to enhance our e-commerce platform and internal processes.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and at least one back-end language (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred
- Basic experience with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue, Express, Django).
- Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL) and RESTful API development.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) or containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Experience contributing to or leveraging open-source projects.
