Roles & Responsibilities
The team is currently looking for an data science intern who has a passion for data science with the willingness to dig deep into details.
- Work with other data scientists and a variety of stakeholders (IT, DE, business etc.) to deliver high-quality models.
- Gathering and analyzing data of United’s various operations to make fact-based, data-driven recommendations.
- Execute solutions to business problems using data analysis, machine learning and optimization tools.
Eligibility Criteria
Required
- Bachelor’s degree OR 3rd/4th Year Graduate Students (having availability to work on 6-month internship).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Programming Languages (Python/R), SQL, Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
- Beginner knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
- An intellectual curiosity for working with very large sets of data.
- Understanding of probability & statistics.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.
- Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship.
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi (written and spoken).
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
Preferred
- Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, and Economics.
