About the Hacksagon 2025
HACKSAGON was first launched in 2020 as a collaborative initiative to bring together innovative minds from across the nation. The inaugural edition was successfully organized by ABV-IIITM IEEE Student Branch in partnership with six IIITs.Building upon the robust foundation of its inaugural edition, HACKSAGON 2025 aims to elevate innovation and collaboration to new heights by rewarding the innovators with an overall prize pool of ₹2,50,000.

Eligibility
- Currently enrolled students in any university or college
- Recent graduates (within the last 12 months)
- High school students aged 16 and above

Event Schedule
Phase 1: Registration & Idea Submission
- Jan 15 – Feb 20, 2025 – Register and form a team. Submit your project idea in PDF/PPT format.
- Jan 15 – Registration opens for individuals and cross-university teams.
- Feb 20 – Last day to submit project ideas.
Phase 1.2: Idea Review and Results
- Feb 21 – Feb 28, 2025 – Format checking & relevancy evaluation of submitted PPT/PDF files.
- Mar 5, 2025 – Announcement of shortlisted teams via email.
Phase 2: Registration & Presentation
- Mar 6 – Mar 16, 2025 – Registration for Round 2.
- Mar 6 – Form release for project details submission.
- Mar 16 – Last date to submit the form.
Phase 2.2: Presentation at IIITM (Online/Offline Mode)
- Mar 31, 2025 – Team leaders receive emails with date & time for presentations.
- Apr 1 – Apr 5, 2025 – Presentations take place; meeting links shared on the day.
Phase 2.3: Results of Round 2
- Apr 10, 2025 – Emails sent to shortlisted teams for the next round.
Phase 3: Final Round Registration & Prototype Development
- Apr 11 – Apr 18, 2025 – Registration for Round 3.
- Apr 11 – Form release for final round registration.
- Apr 18 – Last date to submit the form.
Phase 3.2: Prototype Round at IIITM
- May 15, 2025 (Tentative) – 36-hour Hackathon Sprint; teams work on final projects.
Phase 3.3: Final Results & Prize Distribution
- May 16, 2025 (Tentative) – Announcement of final results and distribution of prizes.
