Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to end-to-end software development for Enterprise Imaging products used for image archival products that are part of the Edison Data Business.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be

Responsible to contribute to software products developed in a global team. You are expected to have work experience with various global development teams in software product development.
Responsible for programing a feature and or a small feature set.
Skilled in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
Responsible for troubleshooting customer issues and providing necessary resolutions. Understanding and applying GE processes
Being a part of the development team, you will contribute to end-to-end software development. This will include working on software deliverables for the release, meeting required design objectives to meet customer & business needs.
Should understand various parameters like code coverage, security checks, automation, etc., and nurture the quality of code that helps feature deployment with ease.
Required to participate actively in Scrum team following Agile/TDD/BDD approach. You need to have experience in understanding user stories from Product Manager and develop features that meet all acceptance criteria of the Product Owner.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
3+ extensive hands-on experience in C#.NET, Algorithms, OOPs concepts, Net Core, Windows, SQL Server, Web API, REST, Angular framework, and JavaScript.
Strong Debugging Skills on Windows/MFC and design exposure to multithreaded applications.
Sound knowledge of OOAnalysis & Design.
Experience with public cloud infrastructures such as AWS or Azure (Services: Compute, Storage, Database, Load Balance, Elastic Designs, Analytics, Web Services, Messaging).
Experience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, and AngularJS.
Understanding of code versioning tools and CI/CT/CD processes.
Technical expertise in System Software Design, Data Structures, and Software.
Experience developing and migrating Enterprise applications (.NET, C#) to Cloud.
Experience with Databases such as MySQL, and SQL Server.

Has knowledge of the Healthcare domain.
Strong debugging and unit testing skills using a well-known and accepted unit testing framework.
Strong knowledge of unit testing using tools such as NUnit and MSTest.
