About Formula Bharat
“Formula Bharat” is an annual student design competition in India, where engineering students from various colleges and universities design, build, and race formula-style race cars. The competition aims to provide students with a platform to showcase their technical skills and creativity and foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the automotive sector.
- The Formula Bharat Organization organizes the competition and features various events, such as static events (such as design and cost presentations) and dynamic events (such as acceleration, skid pad, autocross, and endurance).
- The ultimate goal of the competition is to promote excellence in engineering education and to provide a bridge between industry and academia.

REV-IT Virtual Racing 2023
- ‘Rev-it!’ by Formula Bharat in collaboration with IR eSports is an online virtual racing event.

Shootout 2024
- The annual Shootout competition will be a two-day autocross track event for Formula Student teams.
- The 2023-2024 season Shootout event will feature vehicles within the Formula Student Combustion category only (tentative).
- This event will solely focus on the team’s vehicle dynamic capabilities and driver performance.
- Teams will have to engage in technical inspections to evaluate vehicle safety prior to engaging in any track activities.
