About IEEE-DELCON2025

DELCON is an international conference owned by the IEEE Delhi Section. The IEEE Delhi Section is one of the 13 sections in India, part of the Asia-Pacific Region (IEEE Region 10). Currently, it covers the northern part of India, including the states of Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and the National Capital Territory of Delhi, as well as the Union Territories of Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh.

The inaugural edition of DELCON was successfully held in 2022 at NSUT, New Delhi. In 2023, it was hosted by Chitkara University, Punjab, India. The most recent edition took place at BVPCE, New Delhi. Each of the previous editions has seen strong participation from researchers and industry professionals worldwide.

The DELCON 2025 conference will be organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, New Delhi, at the Jamia Millia Islamia university campus. This conference will offer a prominent platform for researchers to showcase their work and will be recognized as the conference of the IEEE Delhi Section. Technically and financially supported by the IEEE Delhi Section, the conference will feature multiple tracks covering a broad range of topics in Electrical, Computer, and Electronics Engineering.

All accepted and presented papers by registered authors will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore. The DELCON proceedings are indexed by SCOPUS and Google Scholar.

About Dept. of Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, is a leading institution in electrical engineering education and research. Established in 1985, it is recognized as a SAP department by UGC and supported by FIST. The department offers B.Tech, M.Tech programs in Electrical Power Systems Management (EPSM) and Control & Instrumentation Systems (CIS), and a structured Ph.D. program across seven areas, including Power Systems, Electronics, and Biomedical Engineering. Admissions are highly competitive through national entrance exams.

The department is respected nationally and internationally, with accomplished alumni, faculty involvement in research publications, expert committees, and awards. Faculty members excel in research, securing grants from agencies like DRDO, DST, AICTE, and MHRD, contributing to innovative solutions and upgrading research facilities. Over 150 Ph.Ds have been awarded, and the department has an h-index of 57. It is also a recognized QIP center in engineering.
