About the Organization
Born out of the vision of its founders, Radhika and Kartik Bharat Ram, KARM Trust is a registered public charitable trust. KARM Trust endeavours to work on some of society’s most pressing issues, especially in the areas of education, health and gender equality. Through innovative and carefully designed programs, KARM Trust aims to broaden the awareness of, and respond to, issues affecting women. With some of our initiatives, we hope to empower them with opportunities to pursue their dreams and build capability in local communities.

The KARM Fellowship aspires to foster a community of financially independent, compassionate, driven women who are committed to becoming enablers and change leaders in communities of their choice.
Eligibility
- To be eligible, you must be a female student in Class 12, planning to pursue an undergraduate course in a Delhi University college, with a family income under INR 5,00,000, and possess basic English and tech skills.
- KARM exclusively backs full-time degree programs at Delhi University. Applied courses, diplomas, evening college, and distance learning are not eligible.
- KARM Trust is a non-affiliated, non-partisan entity with no religious or political ties.
- KARM Trust is not involved in the administration or admission processes of Delhi University colleges, including SRCC and LSR.

- Financial proofs of applicant’s father/mother/guardian (up to 3 files)
- Principal’s certificate (as per the prescribed format)

Tentative Schedule: KARM Fellowship Selection
- Activation of online forms for current grade 12 female students: December 1, 2023 (Last day for form submission).
- Shortlist 1: January 5, 2024 (Announcement of shortlisted interview candidates).
- Stage 2: Interviews of shortlisted applicants in January 2024.
- Shortlist 2: March 2024 (35 selected applicants announced).
- Stage 3: July 2024 (Final list after Class 12 board results and Delhi University admission).
