About Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme 2023
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi is pleased to announce Atal Bihari Vaipayee General Scholarship Scheme (A1201) at Indian Universities/institutes for the academic year 2023-24. ICCR has allotted 2 scholarship slots for Saudi nationals for the academic year 2023-24. Applicants must be between the age of 18-30 years for Undergraduate Programme and 18-45 years for PhD Programmes.
Application Instructions
- Since the English language is the medium of instruction in Indian universities, the students must be sufficiently proficient in English to properly pursue the academic lecture.
- The applications from interested international students for the academic year 2023-24 will be invited online through ICCR’s A2A Scholarship Portal http://a2ascholarships[dot]iccr[dot]gov[dot]in,
- Which will be operational from 20th February 2023.

Important Dates
- Opening of ICCR A2A Portal for admissions, February 20, 2023.
- The last date for applications to be submitted by students is April 30, 2023.
- The last date for Universities to inform the decision (if confirmed, intimation to Missions; if rejected, intimation to students) is May 31, 2023.
- The last date for allocating scholarships and generating Offer Letters by Indian Mission abroad is June 30, 2023.
- The last date of acceptance by students is July 15, 2023.
- Based on the number of acceptances in the first round (if acceptances are less than the scholarship seats allocated) Indian Missions to offer scholarships to other students who were not considered in the first round is July 22, 2023.
- Second-round students to convey their acceptance, 30 July 2023.
