About Abhyuday

Abhyuday is the social body of IIT Bombay, which aims at sensitising the youth towards the issues plaguing society. With the aim of promoting social good, Abhyuday conducts awareness and impact-driven campaigns, competitions and events throughout the year.

One of its major initiatives is the College Representative Program. The College Representative Program is a Student Internship Program which brings together socially active students across India and leads them toward building a better society.

Today, there is a need for each of us to take a step and contribute to the betterment of society. The CR program gives an opportunity and intends to bring out the leaders in the students across India.

Responsibilities of a CR

  • Social Awareness: Put your thinking cap on and come up with innovative ideas to reach out to more people in order to magnify the impact on society.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with the Abhyuday team in multi-city campaigns and learn under the guidance of mentors from Abhyuday, IIT Bombay.
  • Leadership: Ideate, plan and execute events, campaigns and competitions in your college with the assistance of Abhyuday, IIT Bombay.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Any college students willing to socially contribute are eligible to apply and become college representatives.
  • You should be able to start the internship in August 2023 and be available for a part-time internship for the next 5-6 months.
