Applications are invited from the third year and final year B.Tech. Electrical and Electronics Engineering students of various institutions for undergoing an internship at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering under Scientific Social Responsibility (SSR) of the SERB-project (CRG/2021/005521).

Instructions

  • The candidates are instructed to report at 9.00 a.m. at the venue for document verification
    followed by the selection process.
  • Candidates are instructed to bring the following without fail for the selection process:
    • Original certificates for verification
    • One set of photocopies of all documents
  • Without the above-mentioned supportive documents, the candidates will not be considered
    for the selection process.
  • Selection Process:
    The selection process involves two stages as follows:
    • Stage I – Skill Test:
      Skill Test will be conducted in the following areas:
      • Troubleshooting Hardware (Server / PCs / Laptop / Printers / NVR)
      • Networking (Switch Configuration — IP, VLAN, DHCP, Bandwidth, NMS, CCTV)
      • Security (Firewall, NAT, Antispam, Inbound / Outbound, etc.)
      • Wi-Fi / FTTH (Router, OLT, ONT Configurations, Rogue AP, Signals & bands)
      • Networking Passive (Estimate Preparation, Cabling & Accessories, etc.)
      • Windows Servers (ADS, DNS, DHCP, IIS, KMS, PXE, WDS, MDT, ADFS, etc)
      • Linux & Email Servers (User Account Management, Tar Back Up, NTP, Postfix,
        Quota Management, IPtables, LAMP, Horde Framework, Moodle)
      • Software Development (PHP/MySQL | Java/Postgres)
      • Data Centre Maintenance (Modular UPS, Centralized Air-conditioning system, etc.)
      • Out of the above 9 areas, each candidate should appear for skill test in 2 areas. Duration of 30 minutes will be given for each area opted by the candidates.
    • Stage Il – Personal Interview:
      ‘The candidates will have to appear for Personal Interview after the skill test.

Stipend

A stipend per month will be paid and a certificate will be issued upon completion of the assigned tasks.
