NIT Jalandhar is organising Inter-Institutional Business Plan Competition 2024 on 19-21 April. The last date of registration for the competition is April 17.
About NIT Jalandhar
Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology was established in the year 1987 as Regional Engineering College and was given the status of National Institute of Technology (Deemed University) by the Government of India on October 17, 2002 under the aegis of Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), New Delhi.
Now the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Government of India has declared the Institute as “Institute of National Importance” under the act of Parliament-2007. A large number of reputed Industrial houses in the country visit the Institution and select the final year students as Engineers/ Management Trainees.
As one of the National Institutes of Technology (NIT), the Institute has the responsibility of providing high quality education in Engineering, Technology and Sciences to produce competent technical and scientific manpower for the country. The Institute offers BTech, MTech, MSc, MBA and PhD programmes in the several disciplines of Engineering, Technology and Sciences.
About the Competition
Institution’s Innovation Council(IIC), Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar is thrilled to announce that Yukti 2.0 and IIC is going to organize the Inter-Institutional Business Plan Competition. A business plan competition is a contest between start-up, early-stage, and/or growing businesses.

- Venue: Conference hall, IT Building
- Level 1 – Poster Presentation
- Level 2 – Pitching
- Poster Standard Dimension: 100 cm X 80 cm (Vertical)
- Team size :- at max 3 participants
For this business plan competition candidates have to develop and submit the original idea(s) to the organizing committee for the evaluation & shortlist the top 25% business ideas for poster presentation. Further, top 10% business ideas will be shortlisted for pitching.

Note:
- Printing of posters will be done by team Yukti itself. Hence all the participants have to submit their posters through the google form to the team Yukti.
